Microsoft are to release Halo 3, the highly anticipated final installment of the Halo series, on the 25th of September 2007.  While X360 gamers battle to turn the tide against the Covenant race, Microsoft will hope to shift the balance of power in its war with the Nintendo Wii and Sony PS3. The move is reportedly targeted at widening the 360's user base in time for the end of year festive seasons that are traditional high points for video gaming sales. Can Master Chief beat out Samus Aran and Killzone 3 before Christmas? We won't have to wait long to find out...  Quote
