Mario Kart Wii Character Review - Baby Daisy

What's this?! Why on earth would a Mario Kart veteran want to accept a brand-new spinoff of an already cliché character as one of their finest racers? Find out in today's Mario Kart Wii Character Review! Wheeeeee!

What's she like?
Baby Daisy's a brand new racer to the scene in the irritatingly overdone vein of Baby Mario, Baby Luigi, Baby Peach and Baby goodness-knows-who-else; indeed this author cringed at first on the very mention of her presence in the game. But while she started off on the wrong foot, when she takes to the track you'd better not mess with this new kid on the block. She's arguably the best of the lightweights, with boosted speed and weight and slightly better Mini-Turbos than her counterparts.

Baby Daisy and... him.

Her cries of "Wheeee!", "Ha ha!" and other such are guaranteed to have your opponents gritting their teeth as they watch you disappear off into the distance - but stay out of the way of the big boys if you don't want to end up sailing off the nearest available edge.

When to use her?
Baby Daisy is a versatile character with good racing stats, so she's best used whenever you feel like risking a lightweight. A personal favourite combination is Baby Daisy in the Cheep Charger with its good handling and speed, but this particularly light combination is so featherweight that one nudge can potentially send you flying, not to mention the rough and tumble of 11 other karters jostling for first place. Still, at least it's not as bad as those rotten bikes...

This newcomer might not have started out well, but it looks like she's quickly made something of a name for herself.

Next up...
No clues this time - you'll just have to wait and see. Ha ha!
