LONDON, England, 8th June 2008; in association with Clan MKR: Mario Kart Wii:
Clan SG's dirty tricks campaign continues in their latest abuse of the Mario Kart Wii structure - this time, however, in a public three-way race involving MKR, SG and Clan FF (Furry Fury). Read inside for further details.

The Grand Team Tournament, an event designed to enable clans of various skill levels to compete and determine who is the greatest among them, often in three-way matches, was recently entered into by respected Ally, and highly talented racer, NDA*Bob's clan, the Mario Kart Racers.

"It was MKR, SG and FF in todays match", explains Bob, adding that he personally represented his clan tonight.

However, upon arrival at the racetrack to participate in the event, Bob soon discovered that all was not even - in an all-too familiar manner. Instead of racing in the fair, equal match one would expect, Clan SG once again showed their prowess for engaging in underhanded, dirty tricks practices in a desperate attempt to regain the upper hand when things yet again took a grim turn for them.

"I came first twice", said Bob, adding that he "devastated" [SG]Guru, Jaap and Saucy, and posted a very strong third place result in the first GP, a mere 4 points behind the 1st place racer. Finding himself in a very strong position against the "Shady Geezers", and faced with the stark facts of every other racer falling far behind, he surely felt confident that he could post a respectable result for the second Grand Prix also.

Unfortunately, though, this was not the case. SG's all-too-familiar underhanded countermeasure scheme, which clans are becoming increasingly aware of, rapidly kicked in to put an end to Bob's powerful gameplay.

"In the second GP I came seventh as SG decided to do an interesting tactic of slowing down to let me past and then blasting me with items on the 2nd and last laps", Bob explained, with more than a hint of familiar annoyance. Of course, this tactic of targeting the top player because they've nothing to match him with has been seen recently before, in the NDA vs SG match only a week ago.

As our readers will no doubt be aware, this is not the first time (and certainly undoubtedly not the last time) Clan SG have engaged in such underhanded practices, which have previously been compared with members of an opposing football team all "slide tackling" the rival side's top striker in an attempt to injure him and send him off, thus removing his threat. Of course, that would never be tolerated in any fair environment, but it seems SG's program of abuse continues unabated, regardless.

But SG's dirty tricks didn't end there - far from it, indeed.

"It was supposed to be random for every course and they selected their line of tracks... Not good :l", Bob added, referring to SG's scheme of all voting for the same course, when courses were actually supposed to be random; a very underhanded tactic and one the SG has employed before to help them win, clearly because they only have a few courses that they pose anything close to a credible threat on.

So, the question remains to be asked: will Clan SG ever cease their program of dirty tricks - a program obviously designed to continually add to their ever-growing list of questionable "wins" - or will they one day cease these practices and play a fair game?

Only time will tell.
